Welcome to Lawrence

Lawrence Elementary School opened its doors the 2017-2018 school year as the newest school in LVJUSD. We are honored to be named after the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, a facility recognized for its cutting-edge science, technology, and engineering. The name is perfect as we provide our students with the foundation for a lifelong love of science and technology.

Lawrence Elementary School strives to foster rigorous and engaging learning in a supportive and nurturing atmosphere. We sustain our instructional program through bold leadership inclusive of all stakeholders on a safe, inviting campus.

Parent engagement truly makes Lawrence Elementary standout amongst exemplary elementary schools. Visitors are able to see and feel the strong partnership between home and school.

It takes a team to cultivate a climate in which students thrive and become lifelong learners. We welcome all families to visit our school, and ultimately become part of our “Lawrence Labrador” team.

“Our teachers come from highly qualified and experienced backgrounds. They are passionate about the growth and development of your student. You won’t find a more impressive collection of elementary teachers anywhere else!”

Dave Vonheeder, Parent of 3 LES Students

California Healthy Kids Survey

Parents, your students will be taking the California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS) online this month.  It is an anonymous survey focused on youth resilience and health risk behavior.  The data collected will be used to help improve health and prevention programs offered to students that can promote academic success, well-being, and positive development of our youth.  If you would like to view the content of the survey, you can ask the school office to see a copy of the survey or you can click here:
